His team is putting together a project, that will be Garfield-esque in nature. Hopefully, no one will bite, and we’ll never get our meme movie. Does Grumpy cat even act, or does he just pose? 1) Nashville I gave this show a good 7 or 8 episodes before finally deciding that I no longer cared what happened to anyone in the cast. It is too soapy, and there are too many ancillary characters for me to care about. Connie Britton does a good job, but the rest of the cast is really soapy. Even Hayden. I’ve heard about what’s been happening since then, and it just seems so daytime for my taste (and I still watch Revenge and Grey’s Anatomy). 2) Suburgatory My love for this show went away with the introduction of Alicia … Continue reading Three Still Running Shows I Gave Up On

Including the 11PM replay, Behind The Candelabra had a total of 3.5 million viewers on Sunday night. The Michael Douglas/Matt Damon movie is certain to be rewatched several times as it continues to steamroll competition on its way to Emmy night. 1) Fast and Furious 6- 45M weekend, 200M total The franchise has been getting pretty good buzz. With such a huge opening, it’s almost impossible to not drop at least in half, which would leave it with about 45M this weekend, probably edging out After Earth and getting to keep the crown for a second weekend. 2) After Earth- 40M weekend Will Smith is still a pretty huge draw in terms of box office. Last summer’s Men In Black 3 opened to 54M, Hancock did 62M, and I Am Legend did 77M. Granted, his box office has been slipping a … Continue reading Box Office Predictions: 5/31-6/2- ‘Earth’ battles for the top spot
ABC Family has ordered more episodes for Season 3 of Melissa and Joey, as well as giving the greenlight to Season 4. That will raise the total of Season 3 episodes to 20, in addition to 20 for Season 4. It will be Joey Lawrence’s most successful TV effort to date, however, Melissa Joan Hart’s Sabrina The Teenage Witch shot 163 episodes. So it will likely fall short of that.
