The latest buzz on the internet is that Dan Harmon has been asked back to Community, after being unceremoniously let go at the end of Season 3, due to a dispute with star Chevy Chase. Now that Chase has exited the series, Harmon no longer has any mortal enemies in the production, and is safe to return. Harmon discussed the possibility of this return on his latest podcast of Harmontown. This could be a nice shot in the arm for the struggling sitcom, whose fans sat through an OK (but not as good as the last three seasons) season.
