Jean Stapleton, best known for playing Edith Bunker on All In The Family, has died at the age of 90 of natural causes at her home. Her contribution to TV goes beyond being a Bunker, and into roles Archie Bunkers Place, Beakman’s World, Scarecrow and Mrs King, and Touched By An Angel.
