Marisa Ramirez, who joined the show last season, has been promoted to series regular on Blue Bloods. She plays Danny’s (Donnie Wahlberg) partner. She was one of three potential girls who could have taken the spot vacated controversially by Jennifer Esposito, who was let go after Season 2, and has claimed she was forced out because she has Celiac Disease. Ramirez has also been seen on Body Of Proof and Against The Wall.
