While doing press for promoting The Heat, Paul Feig has confirmed that a script is being written by original writer Katie Dippold. The studio hasn’t officially commented on sequel possibilities yet, nor have Bullock or McCarthy committed to it, but I’m guessing if those two are up for it, we will see a sequel. And since Bullock did a Miss Congeniality sequel, I’m guessing she can’t say no to a Heat sequel.
