Despite the horrific box office of The Lone Ranger, Disney still wants to be in business with Johnny Depp. He is close to locking a deal to return as the Mad Hatter for Alice In Wonderland 2 (I’m sure it will have a different title by the time it shoots). He is already signed to reprise his role as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 5, slated for Summer 2015.
