It’s a happy day at NBC as Last Comic Standing has been granted new life. It has been renewed for a ninth cycle next season. The show has lived, and died, and lived, and died, and is now living again.

NBC also renewed America’s Got Talent (no surprise) and America Ninja Warrior for next summer.

And in less interesting news, Nickelodeon has cancelled Sam and Cat because of a lot of backstage drama.
