As incredibly bizarre as it may sound, they are making a sequel to the moderately successful Last Vegas, which made 63M domestically, and apparently has done well in VOD.

They are intending to bring back stars Kevin Kline, Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Douglas, though no deals have been made. Hopefully Mary Steenburgen will also return.

It wasn’t a particularly bad movie, but this is like trying to create a new Hangover franchise. The grosses just weren’t there though.
