Another screen legend has left us. Lauren Bacall has passed away at 89 years old. Her legacy spanned 70 years. The first thing I saw her in was The Mirror Has Two Faces, after being forced to follow my mom into her choice of film. I’m only familiar with most of her later work, including roles in My Fellow Americans, Misery, and most recently the awful The Forger.
She won an honorary Oscar in 2010, and was nominated in 1997 for her role in The Mirror Has Two Faces. She also won the Cecil B Demille award in 1993 from the Hollywood Foreign Press.
