i have very little patience for Alice, who has seen nothing but abusive relationships pan out awfully her entire life, both with her parents and later with the flowers, so her thing with Dylan is something I have zero respect for, as Alice feels much more likely to go Promising Young Woman on him than try and make excuses for her abusive boyfriend. The stuff around June’s impending death was done nicely, but I must have missed why they burned the greenhouse down. Very odd.

Gaby and Sir’s relationship is so bizarre, and I’m still concerned about the long term prospects. This weeks case, I knew as soon as that character was introduced that they were the kidnapper, but I did enjoy the sub-plot with Margaret and her daughter. That was oddly sweet but also heartbreaking.
