Not really sure if there’s anything truly exciting happening out there in the world of entertainment. These Holidays are often the doldrums of information. So as a reminder, as of yesterday, all five seasons of Las Vegas are now on Peacock, though I don’t know if they have audio description.

1) For All Mankind (Apple Plus)

Getting close to the end of the season. Ed and Dev work on their plan to secure the asteroid in Mars’s orbit, while on earth Elita receives an unexpected visit that puts Margo’s defection in a new light.

2) What If? (Disney Plus)

In the second installment, Ego has control of Star Lord and starts to take over planets with him. When Peter comes back to earth,n his home, he’s met by the oddest conglomeration of Avengers we’ve seen yet, but the only ones available at the time, including Captain Carter, Howard Stark, The Winter Soldier, and even some Ant-Man friends we know will later be foes. Oh, and the Black Panther that came before T’Challa. Because, we all forgot he wasn’t the first.

3) Fargo (Hulu)

Status: Limited

Honestly, I wasn’t so sure about this show, and then Jon Hamm’s character gets to have so many moments in the first episode that were great, that I was on board. There’s so much that was wrong about him, but also what a performance. Seriously.

What happens when you accidentally take a picture of something and send it, but you didn’t notice that a… little part of yourself… is visible in the photo until after it is sent? You move. move immediately to another country. ha.

Wow, a streaming show going above 10 episodes. That’s rare. In the 11th episode of the first season, they finally tackle church. Only took eleven episodes.

6) Frasier (Paramount Plus)

Status: Revived

in the original series, Frasier is trying to find a temporary replacement for Roz while she’s on Maternity Leave. He’s assigned a sassy black female sidekick, because this is the 90’s, and he’s too afraid to give her feedback because she’s black. That is the plot.

7) The Artful Dodger (Hulu)

When Hulu is officially dead and absorbed into Disney Plus, i will dance on their grave. Here we have yet another show that Hulu is advertising as a Hulu original, that doesn’t have audio description. Look, just use a different term. Hulu exclusive? Can we do that? Technically, Hulu is supposed to be providing audio description for all its “originals”, but I frequently see them call something Original that likely “originated” in another country, and they have American rights. So, call it a Hulu Exclusive. It’s not that hard. It’s a cool concept, but I’m not gonna start watching another show without audio description. It was going to be a pledge of mine in 2024, and we are close enough.
