Apple has renewed Invasion for a 3rd season, while Netflix has picked up Survival Of The Thickest for a second season. Well, I said, and I’ll say it again, the post-strike cancellation wave is still bashing us. It likely will take a break for Turkey Day, but not before Disney Plus could axe The Muppets Mayhem. I’m not feeling the Pedro Pascal casting as Reed Richards, only because I was really hoping for John Krasinski.I know Pascal is hot right now, with The Last Of Us and The Mandalorian, so it makes sense. but Emily Blunt could have played Invisible Girl, and we know Krasinski can write/direct. The fact that I’m hearing that the SAG AMPTA negotiations are being held up over AI really tells me all I need to know about the studios positions. I do hope SAG does not waiver on their counter to many of the terrible ideas these studios were proposing, including owning an actors likeness in perpetuity, simply because they showed up as an extra for one day.
