We have some news finally out of comic con. In The Walking Dead Universe, The Walking Dead: Dead City and Daryl Dixon both have gotten second season pickups. Meanwhile, Amazon was able to run a promo for the upcoming second season of Invincible, and Peacock showed off the upcoming John Wick spinoff The Continental, which was originally being developed at Starz. Yesterday was insane. Emmy nominations. Next year, i will start predicting bonkers choices just to match these Emmy voters. And, it was the last day of Prime day! What useless crap did you buy? Also, the SAg extension ended, which should mean the actors are on strike. i haven’t seen that officially, but that’s generally what means when a deadline passes. I always enjoy being able to drop some TV knowledge at the top. Freeform has cancelled The Watchful Eye and Single Drunk Female. Neither one of these had audio description. This is their first month, and they already have surpassed AMC Plus. Hah. I do plan on watching something from them soonish to support their new offerings, and give a review on how easy it is to access it. This proves that shows can still be picked up during the writers strike, so I’d love it if ABC could go ahead and pick up Home Economics (and make Casey Wilson a series regular), and NBC can pick up American Auto.
