Apple Plus has pulled the plug on Central Park after three seasons. I stopped watching after the first, so this is not something I’m deeply invested in. I doubled my intake of shows from Monday. The big TV show news is that Amazon is developing a Spanish Language/Mexico version of The Boys, pretty much cementing it as their biggest franchise. Sorry, Middle-Earth fans, but once you pick up an animated spinoff, a second spinoff featuring younger characters, and then a Spanish language version… we’ll talk. NBC has now confirmed that the shortened third season of Labrea is officially its last, something most people assumed. Yesterday, we lost a former First Lady with Roslyn Carter, who made it to 96. We also lost an actor I had forgotten could still be alive, Joss Ackland, who made for a mean villain in in the Lethal Weapon franchise, but also appeared in 90’s Disney films including A Kid In King Arthur’s Court and the Mighty Ducks films.
