Best Buy announced they will no longer be selling physical media after this holiday season. That breaks my heart. I have a massive physical media collection of DVD’s and BluRay’s, and before losing my vision, I used to love to hit up Best Buy on Black Friday, run in and grab a ton of new entries to my collection for cheap. And there was news of Halloween being purchased for TV rights and a cinematic universe. So AMPTPA walked away from SAG talks all pissy, because SAG didn’t make the deal. look, the studios had a lot of way more specific deals to iron out with SAG than the WGA and DGA, and saying you offered them the same deal is impossible. It’s not TV news, but I’m pretty excited that michael Mann’s next movie is Heat 2. I’m less excited that he’s expressing interest in Adam Driver. part of what made the first film so great was that it put Pacino against DeNiro, and there just really isn’t anyone for Driver to go up against. While I’m unfamiliar with the screenplay, I think you have to go with some kind of pairing that is relative to that experience. Looks like iCarly is going away again as paramount Plus has axed the reboot after 3 seasons.
