Warner Bros has acquired a pitch for ‘Rasputin’ from writer Jason Hall (American Sniper) as a potential vehicle for Leonardo DiCaprio. Obviously, since Hall still has to write the script, this will take a while to fully materialize. Universal has picked up a spec script for ‘Don’t Mess With Texas’ to star Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara from the writer of the disappointing What Happens In Vegas.
