Pacific Rim made 3M last night in late shows, letting the naysayers know that there is, in fact, an audience for this film. Some prognosticators were predicting this film would flop this weekend, but it looks like it could do fairly well (perhaps even beating my 40M prediction, but I don’t think it’ll be by that much).
