7) Emily In Paris (Netflix)

We seem to be in a bit of a slump. But, I gotta say, random swarm of bees.. come on now. Like an actual swarm. not just one bee, but enough bees that Sylvie who is usually so composed, ripped her clothes off and went running for a pool. Why? Are the writers at Emily In Paris getting bored?

6) National Treasure: Edge Of Suck

So this ancient map led them to Graceland… which seemed oddly timed all things considering. But, and DO NOT take this the wrong way, but is every episode going to include a lesson about DACA? Can’t this girl just go on her adventure, without the ever impending doom of deportation? It’s like, every time she’s about to be a badass, someone has to remind her she could be deported. We’ve established that. It’s actually starting to detract from an already mediocre show that relies heavily on the winning personalities of it’s female lead and BFF to make this thing work.

5) Down To Earth With Zac Efron (Netflix)

In the final episode of the season, Zac teaches us about a property in seaweed that reduces methane from cows. That was actually an interesting segment, and I hope we start feeding our cows seaweed.

4) The walking Dead (AMC/Netflix)

I’m finishing up the series with a friend, who was waiting for the last eight episodes to hit Netflix. So, Season 11, Episode 17, I would have higher on my list… except for some reason we’ve decided to include gore for gore’s sake, as someone alive is ripped in half by walkers. That’s a bit much. If I still could see, that would have been a bit much for this series.

3) Saturday night live (NBC/Peacock)

Aubrey Plaza was a perfect host, and the cameos throughout were great. Boen Yang is getting some serious traction out of playing George Santos, and I’m here for it. I kinda wanted him in every sketch. I would have not had Tony Hawk as a judge, and just said “The property Brothers”, and then cut to the actual property brothers and Yang as Santos, claiming to be their third twin. So many missed opportunities.

2) Doom Patrol (HBo MAX)

If I’m being honest, Doom Patrol is why I’m rooting for Fraser to win the Oscar this year. He’s so great as Cliff, and this bonkers storyline should prove a wealth of absurdity this season.

Now THAT is how you open a season, completely change the power structure, and make us feel like we have to binge watch the damn thing. What a fantastic season opener, full of unanswered questions, high stakes, action sequences, and a perfect John Krasinski.
