Dexter Resurrection- I will be doing a full review, but for now, I’m just really surprised how much I loved this by the end, considering how underwhelmed I was by New Blood and original Sin. Best revival so far of this series, and it had a lot to do with its amazing guest stars, and David Zayas.

The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox- never visit Italy. Ever. That is what I’ve learned here. Like… ever. We need to get Stanley Tucci back ASAP. These “detectives” might still be on the case.

Terminal List: Dark Wolf- By the end of the episode, I was definitely left wondering how the crew was expected to trust (still) one of their own. After something that happened at the end, I’m not sure I could trust that guy to watch my back. Just saying. Get rid of the creepy dude.

Long Story Short- A cute episode about growing up, and some solid Covid era jokes. Again, this is a show based in things that could actually happen, and isn’t overly sensationalized. If you’ve finished King Of The Hill, this might be your speed.

Rick And Morty- I’ve always loved these guys, even when I had to watch some episodes without AD in the dark ages. Now that it has AD, life is just better. This episode has the return of Bird Person, as well as some father/daughter time kicking ass as bounty hunters in space. Morty was really not a factor at all in this episode.

Name That Tune- I’m deeply concerned that Jesse Tyler Ferguson has never heard I Will Always Love You. He has a lot of gay points, but he definitely lost one. He can afford it, but I was a little shocked when he didn’t get that Dolly/Whitney tune.

Only Murders In The Building- we gained a bevy of new guest stars: Renee Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, Logan Lerman, and Beanie Feldstein. Two of those people have two Academy Awards, joining Dianne Wiest (who is playing Lester’s wife) and eventually Meryl Streep again, to bring this show FOUR actors with multiple Oscars. In one season. I’m impressed.

Say Something!
