Marvel Zombies- A full review is coming, but for now, I’ll say it was a mixed bag. Some stuff I liked, and some I didn’t. I’m certainly not one of those who instantly rejects the next generation of Avengers, so that isn’t it.
Wayward- What a weird reform school, where your intake is performed by the biggest brown noser in the student body. Where are the adults? Why is this policed by a pigeon? Either way, it is an intriguing mystery currently topping Netflix’s charts with LGBTQ leads. The audio description has been solid so far, pointing out several uncomfortable moments, like how there’s still bloodstains on the underside of the floor looking up from the basement, or Colette’s helmet, in case you forgot her mode of transportation. A lot of stuff having to do with the school is just weird anyway, but that one girl having her face smashed in Mac and cheese was a nice moment of description.
Task- Ruffalo needs to find his leak. On the other end, the attempt to sell the drugs back to the people they stole it from does not go as expected. The one guy not wanting to have sex on the bed with the divorced woman was weird. I guess every hotel room is out of the question, because let’s face it, you know. You know at some point, where you sleep, someone has… in every bed. Very likely.
Twisted Metal: I’m surprised this season is going above 10 episodes, but I guess we’re trying to not have a third season. Only a handful of players remain after the end of this episode, with some being eliminated in dumb ways. Mayhem learns a big secret, but will she share it?
Terminal List: Dark Wolf- The gang getting burned would be more surprising and carry more weight if this wasn’t a prequel series. Just saying. Like, at no point in this series is Taylor Kitsch’s life ever in danger. We know what happens with him.
Last Week tonight- Illuminating. I now feel a lot better about my stance on isreal/Palestine after learning a lot about the deeply problematic Netanyahu. this is why we have term limits.
