the Girlfriend- A series with a slow start that keeps getting better and more interesting. I’m excited to see how this ends. Which character were you rooting for, and did your perspective change as the show moves on? did it change back? the perspective shifts make all the difference sometimes.

Hotel Diptheria- I find I can’t even be bothered to remember the name of the show, so I’m just having fun. Jesse Williams once again acts like he’s on a heavy dose of ambien and tries to investigate… something? We see he has people he relies on, but for someone with a particular set of skills, I’m still not sure what those are. It gets 1 more episode to change my mind before I kick it out of the lineup, and toss it a rotten tomato.

Shifting Gears- damn. the cameos. Shot through the heart. I’ve been wanting a Home Improvement revival, and when this show happened, I figured we’d never get it. Now, the series, which already has Nancy Travis recurring from last Man standing, had a guest spot from Patricia Richardson AND Richard Karn. Also, missed opportunity to have him play a character named Hal, and have the misunderstanding be about what his name is. that would have been cute.I got the impression just in the first episode out, that the second season is already creatively stronger.

Krapapolis- Elections. Who needs them? Krapapolis does. it also needs audio description.

Abbott Elementary- I realized at the end I heard the name of the AD company, and despite being nearly identical, and the pessimist in me believing that the company just changed its name after likely amassing bad press, I’ll play along and act like this is a brand new company that landed a sweet deal with ABC, and out of the kindness of their hearts, hired the exact same talent as the previous company. And if you believe that, I have some swampland to sell you.

name That Tune- One of the contestants won “the most money ever on Name That tune”. So, perhaps an episode worth watching if this show is your casual jam.
