Peacemaker- The penultimate episode. Peacemaker and friends head for the exit, but what waits them on the other side? Peacemaker’s evolution over the season has turned him into a solid antihero, like the DC equivalent of a Moon Knight or Deadpool. he’s making some more mature decisions, and while he might not be the best hero, he also clearly wants to be one. Zoo Digital has done solid work all season on the audio description.
English Teacher- Can a robot help you recycle? or, is it just recycling your data?I love this series. I’m glad it is back, even though it seems to not have that much buzz.
Wayward- what is up with all the frogs? Friends reunited last episode, but now they are both trapped in this bizarre facility. It isn’t a total horror show or anything, but it is very weird. And I do love that the lead character here, on Netflix’s #1 show (which I know will be dethroned by our sick obsession with Monsters) is a trans cop. Hell yes.
the Summer I Turned pretty- oh thank God she finally made a choice. It’s over. Not that the series was bad, but it really felt like the last season was stretching for time. Then they added one more episode. We did not need 11 episodes. 10 was enough.
The Great North- FOX finally dropped the axe and cancelled this after five seasons. I’ll miss it. I have a few episodes left, but not many. A very talented voice cast.
Celebrity Weakest Link- TV Mom’s. What a weird little grouping of Moms. Not even the most memorable. The mom from The Fosters? Caroline rhea, who wasn’t even a mother, but an Aunt. Dawson’s mom! So weird.
The Morning Show- Guest Appearance Alert! Jon Hamm is back! We see Corey blackmailing his way back, but also needing to make things right with Bradley. Bradley is still going down the rabbit hole. Alex has to apologize to a billionaire. And friendships are lost, when push comes to shove. I’m sure this isn’t the last we’ve seen of that character who exits.
