Outlander: Blood of My Blood- Will do a full review.
My Life With the Walter Boys- this is not good television. We know that, right? I feel like we know that about Virgin River. There was some acting this week from Cole that was off brand, as he was looking to meet up with a college rep, and some scenes he had just felt like a totally different Cole. Schmaltz. This show is covered in it.
Dexter- I’m not really paying attention to Season 6 anymore. Just enough to know if anyone I should care about dies. My least favorite season of the flagship series thus far. Will it get better or worse in Season 7?
911- Never to be outdone. The writers room at 911 is always asking themselves what inane and batshit crazy stuff they can try to make plausible. In the season premiere, Athena is undercover trying to trap a crime boss, before the FBI blows her cover HARD and uses her full name to this dangerous crime boss as if that won’t come back to bite her in the ass. Meanwhile, a guy goes to space, but something happens, and he crash lands back on earth where he is promptly swallowed by a whale. i did not have that on my bingo card. I should have seen space coming, as that’s where they went in the ninth Fast and furious film. If Angela Bassett isn’t earning at least 500K an episode for this nonsense, after nine seasons, she should quit. this show used to be fun, now it is a parody of itself.
King Of The Hill- I just needed it after 911.
Pop culture Jeopardy- Depending on how the finals go, I might be down to just two episodes.
Abbott Elementary- There’s this whole thing about the dishwasher in the teacher’s lounge, which I have to say as someone who has never left school, I’ve never seen this in a teacher’s space. And I got caught up in Barbara being firm on her hill that she dies on about running a dishwasher that is nearly empty. Jacob keeps trying to tell her it is wasteful, but instead she runs a load with just a spoon and a cup. I’m supposed to like Barbara. She’s supposed to be one of the sane ones.
