Daryl Dixon- I wish I could quit you.
The LAst Frontier- Last year, NBC premiered a show called The Hunting Party. i think it was renewed. i don’t care, it wasn’t very good. Apple Plus had NBC hold their beer and went after a far superior version, which stars Jason Clarke, Dominic Cooper, and Haley Bennett, and has a prison transport plane crash land in the middle of nowhere in Alaska. this puts the Marshal in charge (Clarke) of tracking down the surviving dangerous criminals likely to invade his town, and his family. things get more complicated when the CIA gets involved, as they had one big bad on that plane, and he’s not among the dead. It’s not Emmy worthy, but it is great television for entertainment purposes. Again, way better than The Hunting Party.
911: Nashville- Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Leann Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley. country enough for you? The first episode didn’t grab my attention as much as 911: Lone Star, but at least it didn’t start out in total batshit crazy mode where the Flagg ship series is. Also, Roy Samuelson narrates. ABC is all over the place with their description, considering they still use crap for stuff like high Potential and Abbott Elementary, but on the other side have Dave Wallace on Shifting Gears, Roy on this, and I think Nicole still narrates Grey’s Anatomy, though I haven’t watched that show in a *long* time.
have I Got News For you- Pretty basic stuff. No notes.
The morning Show- Not crazy about the audio mix on this, but otherwise this was a tense episode. There’s a potential plane crash, Alex is dealing with someone blackmailing her and using her father as bait, Cory weighs his options, and Bradley finds out who might have bee behind the cover up. Oh, and everyone misses Mia.
the Rainmaker- Our hot young attorney goes from fired to rehired, and learns he also had the highest score on the bar in ten years. LOL Ok. Meanwhile, he gets closer to the truth of what happened with the hospital, and how much they knew. I think this was already renewed for another season, but this is a far cry from the shows we used to have on USA. I miss the collection of Burn Notice, Monk, White collar, Psych, and other shows. I’m sure they would love to have that golden era back.
