TV Shows Watched: Boots: S1E? (Netflix) with audio description, Bat Fam: S1E3 (Amazon) with audio description

Boots- This is a really solid show. I’m sad netflix doesn’t have the flexibility to let shows thrive over word of mouth. This was definitely in their Top 10 for a while.It hit the top 10 in its second week, and from what I can find has just shy of 10 million viewers. The scary thing is that if Netflix was willing to axe Boots with those numbers, the second season of A Man On The inside has been doing far worse, and has yet to be renewed. Uh oh. Solid audio description as we navigate flashbacks and fantasies, sleepwalking and fist fighting.

Bat Fam- The movie was so much better. Though, I love when we focus on other villains, and The Mad hatter took center stage for a change. Cool. A series with a lot of promise.Honestly, roundabout’s AD here isn’t bad, and while I certainly have clocked a few of their titles early on for mediocre description, they seem to have been gifted some projects by Amazon that fit their strengths.
