A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms- Best episode so far. Duncan’s desire to do the right thing fuels a tonally inconsistent series. You want to root for him as he needs to find six Knights to stand with him in his super sized trial by combat. Dakota did a nice job on the burly man who stands, describing him initially with enough earnestness to make the payoff work.

All’s Fair- They’re still doing a lot of nonsense in an episode that put Sarah Paulson front and center. She’s been with Ryan Murphy the longest, and seems to be most comfortable shitting out some of the worst dialogue ever on television, and doing it with flair. I was quite impressed that I enjoyed this episode even a little, and it had to do a lot with Paulson.

Finding Her Edge- If you want to be really horny, and love skating of all varieties, this is your time. Netflix’s slow romance is available, as are the Winter Olympics, and you can still catch up on the overclocked horniness of Heated Rivalry, and watch Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski on The Traitors. Skating is so fetch.

Nobody Wants This- Still finishing out the season. Noah and Joanne are having problems, as Joanne is looking for a place and Noah doesn’t think she should move in. Honestly, I’ve been with the show up until this moment, and then it started to lose me. Noah’s forced conversation on conversion ruins his previously lax approach, makes him an ass for chasing after her at the end of last season when she le him go, and defeats the purpose of him working at a temple that doesn’t care if his wife is Jewish. But I also think they’re about to wreck another couple, which doesn’t feel earned. That couple went from being excited at the possibility of having another kid earlier in the season to a seemingly overwhelming malaise. I got about halfway through a fifth show, but didn’t finish it for it to make the cut.
