Remember how excited you first were when you found out that Netflix bought the rights to Brian Jacques’ Redwall series, because it might finally get the adaptation it deserves? Netflix still owns the rights, and since the last interested showrunner exited in 2022, there has been no momentum. Netflix is just sitting on these rights.

Daredevil Born Again- Matt reckons with being helped by bullseye, fights to protect Cherry, and find the first mate before Kingpin. Meanwhile, Kingpin has a smart way of finding Matt, and is more than a little peeved by deep fakes of him circulating online. Kingpin’s ICE squad is storming around neighborhoods, hated by everyone, and snatching whoever they want off the street. Looks like White tiger jr will also be a thing. The AD here is solid, though it felt like I didn’t know goon squad was present in the convenience store until it was too late.
American Classic- Kevin Kline’s pariah has to stage a funeral for his mother, while also taking a trip down memory lane with his sister-in-law (Laura Linney) and his brother.A very solid show, with some very nice audio description.
One Piece- I’m awake! This episode was silly but excellent, as the straw hats find themselves in this world’s version of Jurassic Park, complete with giants. Loved this episode, and I wish they could stay on this island. I’m sure this one episode used up the budget for the season. Excellent audio description.
Twisted Yoga- Deeply disconcerting. The women talk about the insane abuse they suffered. Some really heartbreaking stuff. Cults are no bueno.
56 Days- Certainly gets brownie points for feeling original, though the shifts in time period dampen the momentum of the series. There are some great sections, like the chase sequence running to the elevator, but we float a lot here. The AD seems OK.
