American Idol: Really for the first time, we started to see some of the kids perform just pretty good, but not as good as the others. I think Jesse’s choice was a pure example of that, which is why he was where he was. His Wonder Wall was so mediocre. Hannah has been riding the strength of String Cheese through a series of just Ok performances. It would make more sense if she was allowed to sing more originals, but she seems to be doing just the one. Man, those TGIF stars were a weird amalgamation, weren’t they? They brought Danica McKellar back from The Wonder Years, when that show didn’t even air in TGIF. Man, Caroline Rhea will literally show up for anything, won’t she? Kind of weird no one was there from Step By Step.

Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen- this is where the show starts to take a hard turn for me. Rachel’s kidnapper is revealed, and it sends us down an improbable road of stupidity. The series decides to try and connect things, ask questions, and open doors, but instead it just felt like they made things too serendipitous for Rachel to not be freaked out, they asked questions that didn’t actually get answered, and they opened doors and left them.

Daredevil: Born Again- This show is doing all the right things, and it still has not needed to pull out The Punisher or Jessica Jones. This opening sequence of bullseye set to New York State of Mind was terrific.The audio description was incredible. Loved it. Probably my favorite episode so far, and it ends on a big moment.

Imperfect Women- Kerry Washington seems to be the lead as her screentime over Elizabeth Moss increases. Fun fact: You can catch Joel Kinnaman all up in your shit right now, as he’s in this cast, he has For All Mankind and Detective Hole on netflix. So, if you just want a Joel Kinnaman day with new content, it is totally possible. This series is trying to do something with this murder mystery, but what? With this great cast, they can’t squander it. I refuse to believe that is the last we’ve seen of Kate Mara.

The Forsyths- I’m done. This is not my thing. It has lovely audio description, and I don’t think it is actually bad, I just personally don’t enjoy this brand of show. I don’t know how I got into Bridgerton, maybe because it takes itself less seriously. I have a feeling fans of stuffy period dramas are loving The Forsyths. I shall not be anymore. Media Access is doing some really fine work though.
