There are a lot of articles out there about “When is my favorite show coming back?” Presumably, once the leadership passes the tentative agreement on, they will lift the restrictions while WGA members vote on whether or not to approve. Right now, the only thing that has stopped is picketing. Since they were not technically being struck to begin with, those daytime talk shows that faced backlash could likely return next week, including Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Hudson. The Too Much TV Roundup- 09/24/23

A tentative deal has been reached between the studios and the writers. The details have yet to be made public, but should be shortly as the membership has to vote on it. An official vote by leadership happens on Tuesday, which will solidify this a bit more, and possibly allow some writers to return to work. The studios claim they have made their best and final offer to the WGA,. After four days of negotiations, the two are scheduled to meet again today. I do believe this has to be ratified by the membership, so if there aren’t major concessions made by the studios it won’t pass. I’m getting a little tired of renewals not meaning anything anymore. Peacock has reversed its decision on a second season of Bumper In Berlin. Why even bother with renewals? Why lie to fans if your plan is to just piss them off later on by yanking the show away? Where I Watched it: Hulu English Audio Description?: No As a fan of Grace and Frankie, I had been looking forward to this even if it wasn’t getting much attention. The Dancing With The Stars drama is getting real. A quick update for those who are out of the loop. Dancing With The Stars currently has its contestants in rehearsal for the upcoming season. The WGA has been picketing these rehearsals, and putting pressure specifically on SAG members Alyson Hannigan, Mira Sorvino, and Matt Walsh. The pressure was enough that ABC is mulling pushing back the premiere, as Walsh has caved and paused his participation with the show. However!
