Ideally, WBD would just stay their own company, but any corporate consolidation should give us pause, but when David Ellison is able to purchase to media corporations in a calendar year, perhaps more people should be concerned with the how and why. This documentary won two prizes at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, including the audience award for documentary feature. Considering last year, Sundance had some of my favorite documentaries of 2025 in The Perfect Neighbor, Deaf President Now, and Come See Me In The Good Light, I would say the bar has been raised. Disney Plus, for me, still doesn’t show S24E4 of American Idol. Apple’s watchlist says if I just used the Hulu only app, I would get to see it, but unlike the previous three episodes, it doesn’t acknowledge that ability on Disney Plus with Hulu.
