IFC fleshes out ‘Babylon’ cast

IFC has announced the rest of the cast for the mini-series ‘The Spoils of Babylon’, produced by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell. Starring the aforementioned Ferrell and previously announced cast members Kristin Wiig, Haley Joel Osment, and Tobey Maguire, the series has a 6 episode order. Joining the cast are Jessica Alba, Val Kilmer, Tim Robbins, and Michael Sheen. The Spoils Of Babylon is a century-spanning saga following the exploits of the Morehouse family. Marisa Ramirez promoted to series regular on ‘Blue Bloods’

Marisa Ramirez, who joined the show last season, has been promoted to series regular on Blue Bloods. She plays Danny’s (Donnie Wahlberg) partner. She was one of three potential girls who could have taken the spot vacated controversially by Jennifer Esposito, who was let go after Season 2, and has claimed she was forced out because she has Celiac Disease. ‘Expendables 3’ Casting Rumors

Word on the Interwebz is that Milla Jovovich, Nicolas Cage, Jackie Chan, and Wesley Snipes are all in negotiations to join the cast of The Expendables 3.  Milla’s casting is interesting, considering there is already a female version of The Expendables in the works with Gina Carano and Katee Sackhoff attached. Snipes would definitely do it, since he… ahem… needs the money. Chan? He hasn’t been up to anything in a while. And we all know Nicolas Cage will sign onto ANYTHING if you pay him. Rex Lee and Alan Tudyk depart ‘Suburgatory’

Somehow, Suburgatory went from being one of the hottest shows of the 2011-2012 season, to being a bubble show in 2012-2013. It isn’t even on the fall lineup next year, it is being held for midseason. Part of the renewal was an agreed upon budget cut. That budget cut has led to Rex Lee and Alan Tudyk being released from their contracts to Suburgatory.
