In my third edition of how the year is going so far, I’m now up to 181 titles released in 2025 (to the best of my knowledge). What is the worst date you’ve ever been on? if you want to feel better about that, Meghann Fahy gets a doozy in Drop, the new Blumhouse thriller from Christopher Landon (happy Death Day). Blumhouse typically works with horror films, but this is a tight thriller, using time and limited locations to drive the story.
