I would love to say that as an individual critic, I also know every project in development, and am fully aware of all upcoming releases on all platforms. That would be a lie. A24 should be careful. If they push out too many films without their signature “A24 vibes”, their cult following might shift. Of course, i always thought the worship around a distributor was odd. They buy movies and release them, and A24 pushes out a lot of indies. Echo Valley
I know these streamers don’t think about patterns, but over the last couple of years, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed some June films dropping on Apple Plus. This was the window for Cha Cha Real Smooth, and also for Fancy Dance. If you haven’t seen either of those, I highly recommend.
