CBS already is talking about not being worried about next season as they have Paramount Plus shows to rely on. Meanwhile, since today is Wednesday, in the middle of June, I feel the need to point out that this is when ABC has decided to drop the second season of The Wonder Years. Clearly, it’s a burn off. Well, the cancellation monster arrived at NBC yesterday and got rid of young Roc and Grand Crew. I believe that leaves only American Auto on the bubble. Meanwhile, ABC passed on all remaining pilots except The Good lawyer, which remains on the bubble with The Rookie Feds and Home Economics. Well, HBo cancelled Perry Mason after two seasons.What a shame. This proves that shows can still be picked up during the writers strike, so I’d love it if ABC could go ahead and pick up Home Economics (and make Casey Wilson a series regular), and NBC can pick up American Auto.
