Gran Turismo: A Second Look

Much like I did this summer by watching The Royal hotel a second time, and clearing that film of its initial Unwatchable grade, I noticed Netflix uploaded the audio description to Gran Turismo at some point. Mind you, I reviewed that film about a month after it had been on the service, so the delay is still unacceptable for Sony and Netflix. However, Neill Blomkamp and the cast and crew are taken off the Unwatchable list. The first time through, I could tell there was a hint of a film here that I would enjoy if it just had audio … Continue reading Gran Turismo: A Second Look

Gran Turismo

Granted, it’s been about a month since I watched this video game racing adaptation, but I don’t know why Sony would wait a month to add audio description. This review is based on the fact that when I initially watched this, it had no audio description, which is insane. Sony has more than enough money to put audio description on this title, and the fact that they didn’t on Netflix, or even in the Apple Store, really boggles the mind. Turismo was never my racing game. I enjoyed other franchises more when I could see. My favorite game had to … Continue reading Gran Turismo

We Have A ghost

Where I Watched it: Netflix English Audio Description Provided By: International Digital Center Narration Written By Dakota Green For once, I want a film where the lead kid/teenager who befriends whatever entity the film requires to not be a loner or an outcast. It’s always the sad kid who has no friends. popular kids never make friends with ghosts or aliens or talking toys. It’s always someone broken who needs fixing. Believe it or not, this netflix release passed my litmus test for 2023, aka The year I Stop Watching Shit I Don’t Want To See. I figured, stupidly, a … Continue reading We Have A ghost

Violent Night

Where I watched It: Peacock English Audio Description?: Yes When you hear john Wick meets Home Alone, you think that’s a crazy combination, but somehow not. Kevin McAllister probably grew up to be a John Wick. By the way, I would totally love to see a Home Alone with Macaulay Culkin as a grown up Kevin McAllister who is a contract killer…but only at Christmas. Also, no more home Alone movies unless Culkin is coming back as the dad, and Catherine O’Hara as Grandma. I’d mention John Heard, but sadly he passed a while back. So violent Night is Santa … Continue reading Violent Night
