It’s not TV news, but I’m pretty excited that michael Mann’s next movie is Heat 2. I’m less excited that he’s expressing interest in Adam Driver. part of what made the first film so great was that it put Pacino against DeNiro, and there just really isn’t anyone for Driver to go up against. While I’m unfamiliar with the screenplay, I think you have to go with some kind of pairing that is relative to that experience. 10 Spooky Movies On MAX For Your halloween

My second streaming service to get the treatment this year. I did Peacock last weekend, and now MAX. I plan on trying to fill the list with films that have audio description, but if i can’t hit 10 titles, I will fill in at the end, with some great movies that don’t have audio description but probably should. I don’t know how I missed the drama, but Starz apparently cancelled Heels, and almost immediately removed the show from its service. Looks like iCarly is going away again as paramount Plus has axed the reboot after 3 seasons. Well, the shoe dropped. ABC officially cancelled Home Economics. It’s an odd decision, considering everything I’ve read suggests that sitcoms are the quickest thing to get back on the air. Well, the WGA has recommended that writers end the strike officially, so things will be written again. I don’t expect to see the fruition of this until next year, except in talk shows, but it happened. Also, I’m not ranking Dancing With The Stars, but I wish the show had audio description like NBC’s The Voice now does. There are a lot of articles out there about “When is my favorite show coming back?” Presumably, once the leadership passes the tentative agreement on, they will lift the restrictions while WGA members vote on whether or not to approve. Right now, the only thing that has stopped is picketing. Since they were not technically being struck to begin with, those daytime talk shows that faced backlash could likely return next week, including Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Hudson. A tentative deal has been reached between the studios and the writers. The details have yet to be made public, but should be shortly as the membership has to vote on it. An official vote by leadership happens on Tuesday, which will solidify this a bit more, and possibly allow some writers to return to work.
