There are a lot of articles out there about “When is my favorite show coming back?” Presumably, once the leadership passes the tentative agreement on, they will lift the restrictions while WGA members vote on whether or not to approve. Right now, the only thing that has stopped is picketing. The strike has been going on for a lot longer than the studios thought they would. That’s for sure. I haven’t seen another movie abandon ship from 2023 yet. Not quite as many shows today, but more than the previous Monday. The big TV news is that HBO has predictably cancelled The idol. Here’s the deal. I was busy. So, even though this says the Too Much TV roundup, today it feels very much like the normal amount of TV roundup. I did a two hour interview on audio description yesterday, and i still had time to watch all of this plus a movie. Plus, there’s actual TV news to talk about! Amazon has renewed The Summer i Turned Pretty for a third season, while Apple plus will not be moving forward with City on Fire. Once again, a massive post giving you a glimpse of what I’m watching on TV, because one man doesn’t have the time to watch and review all the content I consume.
