Well, Hulu rocked the internet with the cancellation of The Great. Just me posting that on my personal facebook feed got more comments than anything I’ve posted in the past month. People are irate to say the least. Not quite as many shows today, but more than the previous Monday. The big TV news is that HBO has predictably cancelled The idol. MAX is sticking with And Just Like That, picking up the series for a third season. RIP Ron Cephas Jones. Only 66. Wow. I just saw some encouraging news for fans of Twisted Metal. The debut of that series (which I will start soon) is considered to be Peacock’s most watched comedy original thus far. So if you wanted a second season, there’s a good chance. Well, the WGA didn’t end up going back to the table after all. So the strike is still on. i truly believe these studios refuse to budge on AI, and the guilds can’t afford to, because they understand once they allow it in the door contractually it will start putting people out of work. Emmy Wish List: Best Comedy Series

1) Community If you rolled your eyes, you’re probably a Community-purist, which is OK. You probably thought that a non-Dan Harmon Community is blasphemy, and you hated the fourth season. Me? I couldn’t tell the difference. I thought there were some terrific episodes this season, like the Christmas episode, or the season finale.
