Rise, Dawn, and War For The Planet Of The Apes

In preparation for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, I rewatched one of my favorite trilogies of all time. I’m elated that all three films have available audio description… somewhere. For me, I bought the trilogy in the Apple Store, to make sure I have all three. I have VlueRays of all three as well. You know, if Apple hadn’t just bothered to raise their rates, this wouldn’t bother me so much, but I fully expected Killers Of The Flower moon to move from theatres to Apple Plus like all prior Apple releases. Remember how I said the strike would be leading to more and more announcements of cancellations? NBC has now confirmed that the shortened third season of Labrea is officially its last, something most people assumed. You don’t just cut an episode count that dramatically and keep it running for years after. Somehow, in and around the movies, I’m still managing to knock out series. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it.
