The November Man

Starring: Pierce Brosnan, Luke Bracey, Olga Kurylenko, Bill Smitrovich, Will Patton, Caterina Scorsone
Directed By: Roger Donaldson

Rumors of this film being utter crap have been exaggerated. Roger Donaldson, who previously directed The Recruit, Species, Cocktail, Thirteen Days, and a few other movies that didn’t suck. He uses his ability to direct movies that don’t suck to turn The November Man into an average film. It’s definitely forgettable, and it’s not the best work for anyone involved, but the only thing it is guilty of is being incredibly average.

Where the plot has holes, it makes up for by being mildly interesting. The twist of the location of the girl everyone is looking for was unexpected. Brosnan’s charm keeps the film moving, and Luke Bracey isn’t bad in his role.

It’s not a Jason Bourne movie, but it’s not bad… if you see it in your Netflix queue. It’s not a bad spy movie, it’s just a really average film.
