5) The Great North (FOX)

Fortunately, even with five shows, this was a great day for TV. This is my lowest ranked episode, and it was actually quite perfect. The town wants to win a boat race, and they figure out that the hottest guy wins every year, so they carve a hot guy out of wood because no one in their town is hot enough. When this show is on point, it is on fire. Nice reference to Enough Said, as well as a solid Beef retort that made me giggle because it was so true.

4) The undeclared War (Peacock)

After letting this top last week, The Undeclared War moved forward, showing a deep fake protest, and someone inside was a spy all along,and you find out who in the final moments. This is a great show everyone should watch.

3) Paper Girls (Amazon)

Well, that was the finale. no more paper girls. RIP Paper Girls. You were cancelled far too soon for flying too close to the sun. Amazon doesn’t ahve time for brilliant science fiction TV as they keep cancelling it.

2) Uncoupled (Netflix)

I’m really hoping Netflix gave this a second season, because that was a nice cliffhanger. In a show called “Uncoupled”, I’m thinking that I know what Michael’s answer is going to be. Although, technically his supporting cast is entirely single, so maybe they could explore the Michael and Colin reunification. not likely though.

1) House of The Dragon (HBo/HBo MAX)

Yes, everything got an A grade. Everything deserved it. I was really happy with all the shows I managed to watch today. Even house Of The Dragon and yet another horrifying birth sequence couldn’t keep me down. The rest of the episode was flawless, and someone certainly deserves an Emmy nomination next year. Next season will be nuts.
