7) Tales Of The Jedi (Disney plus)

English Audio Description?: Yes

I just didn’t like Choice. I mean, it was weird hearing someone other than Sam Jackson playing Mace Windu, but it also just felt like an incomplete story, or tale. It felt like a deleted scene from a DVD release of one of the prequel films. Compared to the other two, which at under 15 minutes already struggle to have a beginning, middle, and end, this one clearly did not.

Episode Grade: C+

6) The Great North (FOX/Hulu)

English Audio Description?: No

Probably this episodes biggest sin was the lack of Beef. I will not add context to that.

5) 1923 (Paramount Plus)

English Audio Description?: Yes

Listen. If you thought you could rope people in with casting Ford and Mirren, and give them almost no screentime, and then pull that shit at the end of Episode 3, you are sorely mistaken. I’m going to give some benefit of the doubt for now, and wait and see what Episode 4 has in store, but remedy that shit, or I’ll drop this faster than when they used to drop it like it was hot.

4) Let The Right One In (Paramount Plus)

English Audio Description?: No

It would still be nice to have audio description for a show that has a lot of quiet moments, vampire attacks,corpses, and a survivor in a bed wondering why she can’t feel her hands. I don’t know, why can’t you feel your hands? That’s a great fucking question. I’m going to start calling Paramount Plus’s customer service and asking them questions i ahve from episodes that have no audio description, and have them explain things to me. Maybe then they will import the already existing audio description for Showtime programs.

3) Echo 3 (Apple Plus)

English Audio Description?: Yes

So, after watching the pilot, I said I needed another episode to see which direction this series was headed. After the second episode, I’m on board. This was the direction I was hoping for, but then again, I’ve watched a lot of shows where the writers go in the wrong direction, and wonder why their show gets cancelled.

2) The White Lotus

English Audio Description?: Yes

I freaking love Jennifer Coolidge in this show. She still stands out in this ensemble. That whole bit about “is that the Queen?” Was hilarious. Meanwhile, the other characters all seem to be falling into place. I wonder if Albie and his new love interest will find happily ever after, or if she’s just using him. Does she want her Pretty Woman moment?

1) From Scratch (Netflix)

English Audio Description?: Yes

So glad that his family finally put the bullshit behind and came and saw Lino before his cancer surgery. I had no idea this show was going to get this heavy, but damn. Zoey Saldana hasn’t been this good in a long time.
