Peacemaker- Full review coming.

English Teacher- the core gang are summoned to the principal’s house for some kind of event, but it mostly turns out to be figuring out if this one boyfriend character is gay. A secondary plot involved Markie bringing a date who was a bit much.

The Sisters Grimm- the plot thickens as the girls team up with Puck, after a lot of resistance and squabbling, to find their Grandmother. Or to begin to, because they first have to go into the restricted room. Mirror mirror, what has been hiding behind door number two? Still a cute show the whole family might like to watch together. It plays a bit more broadly, but I also totally understand why it is weird I’m watching it as someone with no kids. For review purposes. Solid audio description thus far, but when you’re in fairy tale character land, the possibilities ahead will reveal how far the description is willing to go.

Haunted Hotel- When does ghosts come back? it isn’t that this show is bad, its just that I wouldn’t put it in my top tier. It reminds me of what ghosts does so right, which is establish all the Ghosts and make us love them. Here, aside from the main uncle/brother, and one kid possessed by a demon, it seems like everyone else just pops up as the plot needs them. The audio description is fine, but I could take or leave this.

The Great North- Sadly, the final episode, which was a nice tribute to Beef, and felt like it knew it wasn’t coming back. even the song that Alanis sang at the end felt like a farewell. I enjoyed all five seasons, shockingly even without audio description, because of such a wildly talented voice cast led by Nick Offerman, Will Forte, and Jenny slate.

Name that Tune- there’s always that one song you know, and you think everyone else will know, but for some reason they get it wrong.

Celebrity weakest Link- I’m not a fan of the winner, in an episode full of reality stars, but I like the charity they played for. At the end that is what matters, and what this is for. A very deserving charity gets 50K. I’m fine with that. But aside from the winner and their partner, I had no idea who anyone else was.

Say Something!
