X-Men 97 is coming back sometime this summer, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man returns in the fall.

American Idol- They gave away a cruise to the top 2, for them and three guests. The producers have been using Hannah’s family all season as a promo tool. Her song is literally about being a mother. Hannah has made a point about her husband taking care of the kids during the competition, and how great it is to have them there. She has three kids. And a husband. They easily could have given her 4 guests. Disney has that kind of money, on their own cruise line. They actually had Ryan announce that package, knowing that Hannah is a five person household, and she’s your new American Idol. Do they secretly hate her? And “leave the kids at home” is not a message Disney wants to send for their cruise line either. So weird. Here’s hoping next season has audio description.
The Night Agent- Jacob is fucked. That’s basically the episode. Sure, we got some backstory and flashbacks, but he really needs Peter’s help, ASAP. Renewed for 1 more season.
Imperfect Women- I’m glad Kate Mara is getting stuff to do, but this episode made no sense. She is openly worried aobut her husband divorcing her, so she had an affair, talked with her husband about her fear of him leaving her, and then.. he leaves.. because of the affair she had thinking he was leaving her. Good God. Great cast, but this was an enigma trapped inside itself.
The Miniature Wife- Did you ever watch Downsizing, and think to yourself it would be better as a series? Well, someone did. And, this has the same audio description by that one AI female voice I refuse to believe is alive, because she is never credited. Prove you are human. She’s also narrating Top Chef right now, and High Potential on ABC.
Running Point- This series could be funnier, if they wanted. The meeting at the end of the episode made very little sense. They came down to poach.. *spoiler*? Really?
The Daily Show- Loved the first half, of course, and surprisingly a lot of it wasn’t political. Jon made fun of the news coverage going on and on about the sick cruise ship passengers. When he pointed out that CNN used a video of a bus, but not the bus, I did crack up. What’s the point of stock images of buses? Do you think someone doesn’t conceptually know what a bus is? His interview was with someone who sees danger in AI.
