Man On Fire- Solid adaptation thus far, and I didn’t love the film, so that says something. Speaking of,the original film was directed by Tony Scott, and his brother Ridley, is just now receiving his first Oscar as one of the named recipients of the Honorary Oscars this year. It’s all connected.

Unconditional- One of the best shows I’m watching. Period. A compelling and twisty thriller. The best International drama I’ve seen since Squid Game. This series is excellent, the dub cast is really quite exceptional, and the audio description is well done. Highly recommend to Apple subscribers.

Off campus- The will they or won’t they is about to get more complicated as Hannah drops a bit of a bombshell right at the end of the episode, which is sure to change her friendship. This show is perfectly fine, especially if you like teen/college dramas.

Mia- Worst audio description of 2026 for a scripted series. This highlights either the importance of having a great sound mixer, and/or if you plan on using synthetic voice, don’t use one that sounds like this. I can barely watch the show. One of the rare cases where the audio description might actually make me stop watching.

Dreaming Whilst Black- Love the show, the audio description, everything. I was pleasantly surprised by a second season, and there hasn’t been a renewal or cancellation yet. I’m holding out hope. One of the most original and clever half hours right now.

Virgin River- Thank God we finally got closure on Doc’s overextended storyline. Did you know they had the audacity to not even feature Muriel this episode? Like, who even are you? The shame. Justice for Muriel.

Abbott Elementary- THe April Fools episode, which was painfully obvious an adult was behind the pranks, since there is no way kids in an Elementary school could have pulled off these pranks. One year, I remember our class in high school pranked a teacher by perfectly flipping the rooms orientation so it was facing the opposite direction. A light prank, nothing destroyed, but man was he pissed. After seeing these pranks, he should be grateful that’s all we did.
