House Of the Dragon- I’ll throw my sword down right now. Best AD to a show I’m currently watching. There’s just so much going on here, so much detail, now we have cats to track. Bloody violence. Gore. But that final scene though. A Feast FOr Traitors will go down as one of the most iconic moments in franchise history. They also bumped up the AD credits, so I can give props to Point 360. And while every other AD company is having a hard time figuring credits out, this company not only credits Roy, but we got the whole gang here. Writer, Sound Engineer, Editor, and AD Performer. Aside from the 16 voices used in No Other Choice, it is the most AD credits I think I’ve ever seen. The rest of you… the fuck are you doing? Seriously. Some shows have no credits at all, not even a company. Point 360 just whipped it out like Dirk in Boogie Nights, like they’re throwing down the AD gauntlet to all the other companies saying Now What? Now what indeed. Clearly, we can’t say the studios and streamers are against it, because here it is. I know The Last Of Us had deep credits too, even with quality control. Enjoy the WB love while you can, and get those credits out there in a world becoming increasingly synthetic. If not, soon the job you do will be done by Claude.
Unconditional- I feel like people are sleeping on this because it is Israeli and people aren’t sure how to feel about that. Much like how we appreciate art coming out of other countries whose regimes we disagree with, support the art. Unconditional is the best non-English show of 2026. The AD here is really pretty great, although when she reached into the bag and covered her face, I was like… is there something else in the bag? Or… just a weird acting choice?
Million Dollar Secret- Six becomes four, and I lost one of the ones I didn’t need to see in the finale, and someone I thought deserved to make it. A double elimination, so we have the final four. Who will walk away with one million? The AD here is above average for a reality competition format.
The Miniature Wife- She Ra came in hot today, and this was the lesser of her two tracks.I wish this show was better overall. I think the concept is largely being squandered, and Matthew Macfadyen is too good at playing unlikeable men. Peacock hasn’t decided the future of the series.
The Beauty- The better She-Ra track, because it is so gory, it give the writer a lot to work with. Even a lazy writer has plenty to pick and choose from. I’m not going to review this. I spread eleven episodes out over six months, and I’ve forgotten chunks of the beginning, because this series is just so-so, and didn’t need permanent space in my brain.
Life Larry and the Pursuit Of Unhappiness- For fans of Larry David. I prefer Curb Your Enthusiasm. His skits here go on a bit too long, and I don’t laugh as much as I should. It’s very much his brand though. The AD here is fine, again, given the format, and Larry’s inability to stop talking.
Elzabeth- Reliable AD from media Access Group as Detective Blanc returns to pair with Elzabeth. It’s so weird that she vanished, and I can’t figure out why. Why would she step down as series regular on her own? The series is so much better when Elzabeth is paired with Blanc. Season 3 struggled a bit without her. The rotating cops joining Elzabeth didn’t do much for me.
