Coming up this week, a few movies to note, The Devil Wears Prada 2 (Disney Plus) on Wednesday, The Drama (HBO MAX) on Friday, and the new The Devil’s Mouth (Amazon) on Wednesday with Katherine Newton and Lana Condor. Returning shows include The Walking Dead: Dead City (AMC Plus) today, Batman: The Caped Crusader (Amazon) on Friday, and a few new ones including The Bombing Of Pam Am 103 (Netflix) and Furious (Hulu) with Emmy Rossum and Lola Pettigrew (it sounds a little like Killing Eve to me).

I Will Find You- Yes, the whole damn thing. I’m catching up while clearing out my watchlist. The Sam Worthington hit limited thriller from Harlan Cobin has a full review already up, so check that out. The audio description here was consistently great, IDC written by Steven Christopher.
The Fall And Rise Of Reggie Dinkins- Daniel Radcliffe’s character realizes he’s putting too much of himself in his documentary, something Daniel Roher didn’t care about in his AI doc earlier this year, nor do documentarians like Michael Moore and Morgan Spurlock who are all over their films. But, they needed conflict. I like this show, the AD is just OK. Sitcoms are brutal on AD.
Dutton Ranch- Carter is drunk and hungover far longer than someone should be without medical attention. But, Beulah is in recovery, and everyone thinks she’s crazy for choosing RobWill. The elephant in the room is that most in the show seem to know he’s killed someone before, so passing the legacy to someone with a short fuse is a bad idea. The AD for Taylor Sheridan’s stuff is typically excellent. This one does it again, especially as Carter fumbles around with a gate and some barbed wire.
The Four Seasons- Danny has moved to Italy, and the gang go there for Christmas, but they acknowledge they can’t fly back and forth all the time. That’s fine, don’t you guys only see each other four times a year and at a different destination each time? It’s not like every trip will be in Italy from now on. This show has more audio description,as a sitcom, than Reggie Dinkins. So, it is about the writer. This format is a challenge, and should only be given to experienced writers who know how to milk the most out of the limited gaps. Love Jazzy doing the narration too.
Little House On The Prairie- There’s a scene where someone is dreaming, and they see a family member walking through the fields to them, and considering how well everyone around here seems to find each other (like Jack) I fully bought in to it not being a dream sequence, because this show is so melodramatic, and silly, it made sense. The AD here is fine, no problems, and I’ve been assured the previous problems were fixed. And, apparently the show didn’t have subtitles either for the indigenous dialogue, which is funny, since Laura is fluent without being taught it. She goes and visits the Native American family near her, and the girl her age there asks her mother for water, but does so in her native tongue, yet Laura responds in English, like she’s the fucking Rosetta Stone.
Best AD? Nothing here was bad. There is no worst. The best was probably Dutton Ranch, which did a nice job of tracking Carter’s drunk ass the whole episode.
