Despite no box office, this Ryan Phillippe franchise secured enough funding to film two films back to back from September 2024 to November 2024. A BAFTA nominee for Best British Film, Mr Burton seemed to matter a heck of a lot more to the Brits than here to us in America, despite who it is about. The film did get a UK audio description track, which I’ve heard. The domestic distributor is Samuel Goldwyn, who rarely if ever uses audio description, and I guess didn’t bother to even acquire the UK track. If you were looking forward to the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, the one ABC proudly positioned with a post-Oscars special,and had their new Bachelorette walking the red carpet, you might be surprised to find out… it just got axed. Based on a book by Courtney Summers, IFC has released upon the world a YA zombie apocalypse film that is sure to… evoke very little from you. The concept seems promising, in this Breakfast Club meets Dawn Of The Dead format, but the film just doesn’t do anything with it. We do get to see that there is a zombie horde, and the zombies do viciously get to attack from time to time, creating gory moments, but most of this film is five teens locked in their school, as the lone survivors of their community.
