The Too Much TV Roundup- 09/02/23

I saw the upcoming list of shows starting next week, and Virgin River is likely the one most worth mentioning. Though, I am really happy that I Am Groot got a second season. 14) The Lincoln Lawyer (Netflix) English Audio Description?: Yes Status: Renewed Good news for fans, the show got renewed. I actually enjoyed everything I saw yesterday, and this is on the bottom really for two reasons. The first being that this series is still not describing the Spanish dialogue. I’m working on my DuoLingo, and I’m not adept at this, other than picking up a few words … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- 09/02/23

RIP Ron Cephas Jones. Only 66. Wow. He’s sure to be known for his work on This Is Us, but he’s done many other projects, and just didn’t gain that level of recognition (or Emmy award) until that show. his daughter, Jasmine Cephas Jones is also a brilliant actress, currently starring on Starz’s Blindspotting. 13) Hey Dude (Paramount Plus) English Audio Description?: No Status: Ended I remember loving this show so much as a kid. It doesn’t even play to that young of an audience either. Yet, I find myself struggling to enjoy a show again that just feels under … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- 08/19/23

I shall predict that the whole thing we aren’t liking about how streaming services are pulling content will be far more common place after the strike is settled, and some of those shows they have to start paying residuals on. So take this strike, and if there is a relatively obscure series on a streaming service right now that you have not seen yet… watch the hell out of it. It likely will get purged. Honestly, I never thought HBo would purge Westworld, so all bets are off. 11) Dark Winds (AMC Plus) English Audio Description?: No Status: not Yet … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- 08/08/23

RIP Paul Reubens. Such an unexpected blow. For a lot of people my age, he really helped to shape our childhoods. His Playhouse was a magnificent ball of fun, and his movies certainly were head scratchers for critics, but not kids. Thanks for the laughs, pee Wee. you certainly had an awfully big adventure. 13) FUBAR (Netflix) English Audio Description?: Yes Status: Renewed I’m not sure all the ideas are still working. Between a breakup, and then also being spurned by Alden, things aren’t looking up for one member who also ends the episode in a precarious position. Meanwhile, Arnie … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- 07/31/23

We will not go quietly without a fight! Today, we celebrate, our Independence Day! If you have a little kid, show them that movie, and tell them it really happened, and that’s the reason we celebrate July 4th. Just as a little test. See if they believe you. Anyway, welcome to Earth! 16) The Adventures Of The Gummi Bears (Disney Plus) English Audio Description?: no Status: Ended well, I promised myself ten episodes of this series I loved as a kid, and part of some of these nostalgic trips is that not every show is hitting like i expected. There are … Continue reading The Too Much TV Lineup: 07/03/23
