The Small Screen Diaries- 01/12/24

Apple better be continuing on with For All Mankind. That season finale was a beast, and did exactly what I thought it would. Because the show takes these leaps forward in time, original cast members have to keep being shaved off because there’s only just so much you can age a person. Apparently Percy Jackson is doing solid numbers for Disney. Over 13M in the first week. HUGE TV news that was like a stake to my heart. This upcoming season of What We do In The Shadows will be its last. Not a ton of new TV news, but I did see that MAX is slating Season 3 of And Just Like That for 2025. NBC has decided to stick with its Freshmen dramas Found and The Irrational for a second season. Hopefully, they stick with Quantum Leap as well. Paramount Plus is purging again. This time, I won’t be burned by saying everything has already been removed. The biggest cancellation/removal is Inside Amy Schumer. The rest are some documentaries, Paramount Plus original movies (Snow Day and Fantasy Football), and a bunch of Nickelodeon shows, only two of which I had even heard of.
